My journey to Haiti is completely self-funded but I am asking my friends, family, community and you to support what I’m doing – if you are able to.
Money donated via this site will go towards my fare, medicines I take over, rebuilding of the orphanage, food for people who need it and other expenses I incur on the way.
Some people would rather donate to a larger more organised charity and of those I recommend Medicins San Frontiers and Mutual Aid Disaster Relief mostly because I know people involved with them. They do great work definitely! On the other hand, if you want to know exactly where your donation is going and wish to support my personal efforts, that would be fantastic. I will be updating this site regularly detailing what I’m spending and how much I personally need during my initial month over there.
